June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, a time to shine a light on the importance of brain health and support the more than 7 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease.
Research shows that up to 45% of dementia cases may be linked to modifiable risk factors like high blood pressure, physical inactivity, and poor sleep. It’s also important to note that changes associated with Alzheimer’s can begin 20+ years before symptoms appear. This means there’s a long window of opportunity to take preventive action, start today!
